X-CAL™ AP™ – Type IV ICW

The X-Cal™ AP™ ICW is composed of a lightweight ceramic and glass composite, covered with an advanced Polyurea coating.  This Level IV plate is designed for cost-effective ballistic protection while maintaining a low profile. Weighing approximately 5.2 lbs. in the 10” x 12” Shooters Cut, the X-Cal AP is 0.49” thin with a fitting multi-curvature.

The X-Cal AP ICW is Independently tested to stop the 7.62 x 63 mm, 166 gr. AP (30-06) (M2A1) round when used in conjunction with the following Safariland Type IIIA packages:
